Yesterday morning the mangia cake and I went to Vaughn to pick up the Italians and take them to the Italian street Festival on collage street. We were going to see the world cup game Italy against New Zea land, of coarse due to traffic and 45 minutes looking for Parking a very large Van, we ended up arriving at our destination the incomparable Sicilian Cafe', arrived 10 minutes before the game ended. At lest it was a tie, there would have been blood other wise.
We all got seated 11 of us that met up there, ordered our food the Best Veal sandwiches with red peppers and mushrooms and sauce and cheese so gooey , it was melt in your mouth, wine and beer flowed and my cousin Frank and his band played right across the street to entertain us while we ate.
After words we walked around and took in the sites and various vendors and gelato, I bought a knock off purse for 9.99 its fabulous as did the 2 aunts and Mary, my poor daughter Serena and her taste couldn't find anything she liked and then back to Franks tent, were my aunt Vera who is 80 got to the mike and sang a duet with my cousin as her sister and franks wife Mary danced to Volarie! It was so cute and fun, then we spent the nest 30 minutes trying to find my uncle Frank
who wandered into the wrong restaurant  and had himself a n espresso and conversation with the owner who was according to him half Scotch and Italian , how is this possible my uncle asked. That they owned a restaurant or that they married we questioned.
After 5 hours of tom foolery went drove them back and left for home , hot stuffed and relieved.
